The employee portal

The crew’s screen: the day’s work, the checklist, the photos, and not one dollar figure anywhere on it.

The day, on one screen

The first stop, the checklist ticking with a record of who and when, and the rule that matters: no money on any screen.

The portal lives at /employee, and there is a “My day” link to it in the app’s top bar. Today and Work are always there; Jobs, Waiting, Tools and the rules pages appear only once the company actually uses them, so a two-person outfit sees two tabs.

There is no money on any screen, ever. Not on a task, not on a tool, not on a job. And a task that demands photos cannot be ticked until they are on it.

The time clock, and its two switches

The time clock ships off, deliberately, and it needs both switches before a crew phone shows it:

  1. The owner turns on Portals > Field features > Time clock.
  2. The owner turns on Portals > What your crew can see > The time clock.
  3. The screen itself warns when only one of the two is on, so a half-configured clock never fails silently.

If it will not behave

The crew cannot see the time clock
One of the two switches above is off. Both live under Portals in the console.
A checklist never reached a phone
A checklist only reaches someone once you have said who it is for. Open the checklist and pick a person.
Photo upload is refused after the button appears
The person also needs the Add photos capability on their role. Team, their role, the thirteen switches.
The crew can see a client’s phone number and I did not expect that
Client names and numbers stay hidden from the crew until you switch them on under Portals. Check what is on.
